Main Uses of Nozzles

1) Used for various types of cleaning

Realizing cleaning is one of the most basic uses of nozzles, and nozzle cleaning can generally only achieve surface cleaning, but includes physical cleaning and chemical cleaning. Typical application scenarios include the following categories

① Use nozzles to physically clean some items with stubborn dirt or other impurities on the surface. For example, some large equipment often has fine debris on the specific surface and inside. At this time, the nozzle can be used to perform high-pressure cleaning on its surface.

② In addition to physical cleaning, nozzles can also be used in some working conditions that require chemical cleaning. For example, the surfaces of objects such as cars and household appliances will be chemically cleaned in advance, and the cleaning process is generally achieved by nozzles. The outer surfaces of some circuit boards can also be chemically cleaned using nozzles.

2) Realize spraying

Nozzle products have multiple spraying functions. For most metal parts, nozzles can be used to perform surface treatments such as phosphating, passivation, and degreasing. For some relatively large mechanical equipment, ordinary furniture, etc., spray nozzles can be used for spraying. In the medical industry, the coating, spray printing and spray dyeing of some tablets are also inseparable from the nozzle series products, but such nozzles are more precise.

3) Other comprehensive functions

In addition to the above two main functions, the nozzle can also realize cooling, humidification, dust removal, lubrication and other functions. Although the nozzle may not be suitable for all application scenarios, the important role played by the nozzle is undeniable.

Causes of Nozzle Damage

Nozzle products need to be inspected and maintained regularly during use. If the nozzle is severely worn, a new nozzle needs to be replaced in time. The purpose of this practice is also to ensure the work efficiency of the entire production process and the quality level of the final formed workpiece. So what are the reasons for nozzle damage?

1) After long-term use, the scouring of fluid substances at the nozzle orifice and internal channel will cause a certain degree of corrosion and wear to these two parts, which will affect the flow rate of the nozzle and even the shape and uniformity of the fluid spray.

2) The fluid flowing through the nozzle will more or less carry some fine solid impurities. After a period of deposition, these impurities will easily block the nozzle orifice, thus affecting the normal operation of the nozzle.

3) In addition to the deposition of solid impurities, the long-term evaporation of the fluid will also cause accumulation on the inside or outside of the edge of the nozzle orifice, and eventually form a relatively dry solidified layer, which will eventually block the nozzle orifice or internal channel.

4) Whether the nozzle product is installed correctly will also affect the service life of the nozzle. Some incorrect installation operations such as the gasket deviating from the axis, over-tightening, etc. will have adverse effects on the nozzle.
