1. Product Introduction
Location pins are usually used for precise positioning of workpieces. For example, a pallet moving along an axis, where the drive mechanism cannot accurately and reliably place it in a sufficiently precise position to perform a specific process action, the use of locating pins can solve this problem.
2. Locating Pin Installation Method
Depending on the different matching properties of the positioning scene and the rationality of the design and assembly, the installation method of the locating pin is different, and there are generally the following installation methods.
3. How to Correctly Install the External Thread Locating Pin
1. External thread locating pins are the most widely used because of their easy installation, reliable connection, not easy to loosen and good maintainability.
2. External thread locating pins need to be tightened with nuts. According to different working conditions, anti-loosening nuts or spring washers can be used to prevent loosening; according to the difference in the material of the clamp, it can be used with flat washers, which can effectively protect the clamp from deformation and wear.
3. External threaded locating pins of different materials and hardness have different thread strengths. It is recommended to tighten the threads according to the tightening torque provided in the attached table.
4. When using anti-loosening agents, spring washers, and anti-loosening nuts, the tightening torque recommended in the attached table is not applicable.
Please verify according to the specific working conditions.
