Frequently asked questions about this product
1. Can the linear guide rail and slider be purchased separately?
Considering the accuracy and preload level of the assembled finished product, the accuracy of the single-out rail and slider semi-finished product can only be guaranteed to be ordinary level, and the preload cannot be adjusted. If you need to purchase, you can make a note based on the standard model, or consult relevant staff.
2. How to place an order if the length and number of sliders of the linear guide rail exceed the selection range?
The length and number of sliders can be specified arbitrarily, and the rail length can be directly changed (those exceeding the entire length need to be spliced);
The number of sliders can be added after the model + "-B*", such as "IAC01-H8-L200-B4" means that it is equipped with 4 sliders, but the rail length must not be less than the total length of the slider after assembly (including the grease nozzle).
3. How to calculate the load and life of the linear guide rail?
For the application of linear guide rails, its load capacity and life must be verified for the selected model and usage conditions, and these results are used to determine whether the selected linear guide model meets the requirements.
The load capacity is verified by using the basic rated static load (C0) to find the static safety factor, that is, to determine its static load limit.
The life is verified by using the basic rated dynamic load (C) to calculate the rated life. For details and calculation methods, please consult relevant technicians.
4. How to calculate the load of the inverted linear guide rail?
Yiheda's standard model guides are all "4-direction equal load type". In theory, the load capacity of the inverted and normal installation is the same, but considering the fixed connection strength of the slider, the safety factor of the inverted installation is increased by 1.2 times on the basis of the normal installation.
5. Why do linear guides rust, and how to deal with and prevent it?
The material of the linear guide does not have rust resistance. It will rust when the air humidity is high, the surface is not covered with oil film, or it comes into contact with corrosive liquids.
If the non-rolling groove part is slightly rusted and does not affect the use, it can be polished with 1200 mesh or above sandpaper and then re-applied with anti-rust oil.
The surface of the track can be plated with hard chrome or black chrome to improve corrosion resistance, or physically isolated (with accordion cover and other protection).
